Can non-French citizens apply for MaPrimeRénov'?

What documents do I need to apply?

You need: your latest tax notice (avis d'imposition), property ownership proof, quotes from RGE-certified professionals, and an ID document. For co-owned properties, you also need the copropriété agreement.

How long until I receive the payment?

After uploading the final invoices, ANAH typically processes payments within 2 to 4 months. Processing times may vary depending on the volume of applications and completeness of your file.

Can I combine MaPrimeRénov' with an éco-PTZ?

Yes. Since 2022, MaPrimeRénov' is fully cumulative with the éco-PTZ zero-interest loan (up to €50,000). You can also combine it with CEE (Energy Saving Certificates) and local subsidies. The total cannot exceed 90% of the project cost.

What if my application is rejected?

You can submit a formal appeal (recours gracieux) to ANAH within 2 months of the rejection. Include any missing documents and an explanation letter. If unsuccessful, you can escalate to the administrative tribunal.

Do I need to live in the property?

For owner-occupiers: yes, the property must be your primary residence and you must live in it within 1 year of completion. Landlords can also apply for rental properties but must commit to renting for at least 6 years at a capped rent.
