After a one-click install from the Chrome Web Store and a free AdminLanding sign-in, the extension stays silent until you land on a supported site. Open ameli.fr and a discreet panel appears: it has recognised the site, identified the section you are in, and lists the procedures it can guide there — no setup, no configuration.

Pick a procedure and the guidance works at three levels: a procedure card summarising the steps, documents and deadlines; field-level annotations that explain what each input on the government form actually asks for; and a chat assistant for the questions the form doesn't answer — in English or French, whatever the site's language. Each AI answer costs 1 credit from your monthly allowance.

What it never does: fill fields for you, submit anything, or read what you type. You stay in control of every click on the government site — the extension is a guide standing next to you, not an automation acting for you.

Is the extension free?

Yes, the AdminLanding Guide extension is free to install and use. It provides contextual guidance on supported government websites at no cost. Advanced AI features use AI credits — the free plan includes 5 credits per month, and one-time top-ups (+50 for €6.99, +100 for €9.99) never expire and roll over.

Which browsers are supported?

The extension works on all Chromium-based browsers: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave, Opera, and Vivaldi. It is available on the Chrome Web Store.

Does it work on all French government sites?

We currently support 25+ French government and public service websites, including Ameli, CAF, impots.gouv.fr, ANTS, France Travail, Service-Public.fr, OFII, and many more. We regularly add new sites.

Does the extension access my personal data on government sites?

The extension reads only the DOM structure (URL, page headings, form labels) to identify which government procedure you are on and surface the matching guide. Form values you type, authenticated session data, and account information are never collected or transmitted. AI assistant queries you explicitly submit are routed through AdminLanding's EU-hosted Cloud Functions (europe-west3, GDPR) to Mistral AI (EU-based language-model provider) for inference, then discarded after the response. The extension does not autonomously transmit page content. Source code is auditable on the Chrome Web Store listing.

Is the extension available in English?

Yes! The extension is fully bilingual (French and English). You can switch languages at any time. This makes it particularly useful for expats and non-French speakers navigating French administration.
